Established in 2001 as the sales company for the successful ORB-it® fruit labeling system developed at Ag-Tronic Control Systems Inc., our award-winning company is known for its innovation and designing leading-edge technology in agriculture since January 1991. Our growing company is looking for an individual with the confidence and skills to grow globally. Reporting to Accu-Label’s President, the Director of Global Sales is responsible for overseeing all corporate sales, managing local Sales Development Representatives, and championing Accu-Label’s brand world-wide.
Produce Packaging experience highly desired.
- Hire, manage and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives whose role consists of cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships with new and existing customers.
- Establish a global sales market with direct relationship of key contacts of all fruit and vegetable growers and packers.
- Oversee and implement global marketing initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail, self-starter and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to travel and meet with clients and prospective clients in markets around the world.
- Oversee client relationships with objectives of securing current business and winning new business.
- Establish and maintain a strong long-term relationship with key decision makers.
- Responsible to develop, implement and maintain a strategic sales plan for Accu-Label International product portfolio by managing sales in direct territories.
- Responsible to develop and maintain strategic territory sales that align with direct territories.
- Thorough understanding of direct sales at a global level with relevant experience of sales within a business to business setting.
- Strong track record of knowledge and success in the fruit and vegetable packing industry.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to adapt and overcome internal and external challenges.
- Strong leadership ability with excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
- Experience in extensive sales management and account management strategy.
- Proven ability and drive to complete and close international sales in a competitive market.
- International experience managing a remote team.
- Additional language is a plus.
