JOB FILLED - Employee Relations Manager

Job Description: 

We are seeking an Employee Relations Manager to join our team immediately!

This person will recommend policy and coordinates human resources activities, such as conflict resolution, complaint investigation, and training, H-2A Program, and employee services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supports.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be bilingual (verbal and written) in English and Spanish.                                         
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Excellent interpersonal communications skills and customer service skills, exercising diplomacy and good judgment.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, effective organizational and prioritization skills
  • Must have general social skills and ability to get along well with others. And work in a team environment. 
  • Valid WA State Driver License.
  • Current motor insurance and access to a reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Establish and maintain professional working relations with employees.
  • Maintain Company's plan of privacy compliance under HIPPA; develop, maintain and enforce appropriate policies and procedures to keep confidential employee files and other applicable documents.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by responding timely and accurately to questions and provide appropriate guidance to employees.
  • Actively participate in the management, planning, implementation, and execution of the H-2A Program.
  • Oversee employee recognition program
  • Stay abreast of changing laws and policies and procedures related to employment, and H-2A
  • Ensures equitable treatment of all employees.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and facilitates resolution of employee relations problems.
  • Coordinate training for Supervisors and Managers in managerial skills, communication, and sexual harassment.
  • Actively manage all legal issues such as grievances, internal investigations, sexual harassment, workplace harassment and EEOC. 
  • Coordinate with Director of Human Resource to consult with legal counsel regarding potential liability, or in the event of action taken by a current or former employee or applicant.
  • Interview employees to gather information on their responses to general factors that affect employee morale, motivation, and efficiency. Then report on these findings
  • Must have general social skills and ability to get along well with others. And work in a team environment. 
Qualifications: 
  • Knowledge of internet software; payroll systems; Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
