Polymer Logistics is currently recruiting for a Hunter Sales Representative position to increase sales in the produce grower/shipper and retail marketplace. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible to sell and grow Polymer’s display and fixture categories to Retail outlets throughout North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background ‐ including sales and/or marketing experience, retail experience, supply chain experience, leadership ability, and a desire to sell emerging products. This position will require travel, but will be home based near a major metropolitan city and in close proximity to a major airport, preferably along the East Coast. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Sales.

Compensation/Salary: 
80,000 to 90,000 base
Requirements: 
  • 5+ years of sales experience including 2+ years of field sales. Preferably with a perishable supply chain, retail sales, and/or grower/shipper sales experience.
  • A BA/BS Degree and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be willing to travel (overnight), valid US Driver’s License.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • This position is responsible for driving and managing profitable growth for One-Time sales along with selling Polymer displays and fixtures to Retailers throughout North America.
  • Directly lead commercial efforts selling Polymer fixtures and displays with North America retailers, including sales, marketing, pricing, and account management.
  • The successful candidate must be organized, professional and able to manage multiple accounts.
  • This position will work with management to develop strategies to drive fixture and display conversions at the retail level.
Qualifications: 
  • Excellent prospecting, collaborative, consultative, and innovative skills
  • Proven yourself as a tenacious sales person, excellent cold-calling, objection-handling and closing skills.
  • Industry contacts with key decision makers at the retail level is highly desirable.
  • Must have professional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage a pipeline, be self-motivated and can work independently
  • Must be organized and display knowledge of strategic and consultative selling
  • Retail/Perishable/Packaging experience preferred
  • Able to meet sales goals and report on progress using Salesforce
  • Ability to multi-task and represent multiple subjects and products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation includes a base salary from 80k to 90k per year plus a monthly commission structure and a competitive medical/dental/vision benefits package, in addition to a 6% 401k match.
