Job Description:
We are seeking a Shipping Supervisor to join our team.
The Shipping Supervisor coordinates and supervises a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and 2-3 years’ experience leading and developing others, preferably in a warehouse environment.
- Working knowledge of general Distribution Center operations
- Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve results
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail, flexible and reliable
- Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems independently and with sound judgment.
Responsibilities & Duties:

- Reviews work load daily and plans, organizes and distributes work assignments to employees to meet or exceeded operational and financial goals.
- Monitors progress of work and adjust plan accordingly.
- Establishes and maintains a competent work crew.
- Develops procedures that efficiently and safely move fruit through the warehouse.
- Creates a safe working environment, ensuring that all team members are knowledgeable of good safety practices and procedures
- Manages daily and weekly time and labor; approves time off, monitors hours worked and controls excessive overtime.
- Manage employee performance and proactively addresses performance issues through constructive feedback, coaching, training and/or disciplinary action.
- Ensure that a reliable and accurate inventory is maintained.
- Initiates and coaches the implementation of continuous improvement projects.
- Promotes positive employee relations, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations and company.
- Conducts safety meetings and ensures compliance with safety rules; conducts incident/injury investigations and follow up.
- Communicates effectively with all levels within the organization.
- Maintain cross-functionality of team members through proper rotation and training.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
