JOB FILLED - Produce Sales Representative

Job Description: 

You will have a complete responsibility for all aspects of developing and maintaining customer relationships with multiple buyers and customer accounts. Generally, your goal will be to manage all of your resources and knowledge in a complete sense to achieve the best outcome possible for the organization.

This would also be a great opportunity for a driven individual just starting in the produce industry to develop upon entry level skill.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relations in multiple regions and of multiple types; retail, food service, wholesale, distributor
  • Manage house accounts that may be passed to you from time to time
  • Effective Account Management:  pricing, ad lids, contracts, accounts receivables and closing trouble files in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with operations and quality control to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with sales team to sell/manage the storage inventory (Grower, Purchased, Imports)
  • Meet and exceed individual and team goals
  • Assist with import logistics, scheduling and grower relations as needed
  • Varietal and packinghouse coordination as assigned

  • Be able to easily form relationships with customers and prospects
  • Be able to think outside the box & have a solution orientated mentality
  • Superior organization, planning, multitasking and prioritizing skills
  • Solid computer knowledge and skills, including all aspects of Microsoft Office
  • Famous software and iTradeNetwork experience preferred but not required
  • Responsible management of expenses
