Respect and ensure the respect of quality standards.

Make the concentration tests of chemicals used on the washing lines and notify the immediate superior in case of problems.

Monitor the moisture and vision system test and follow-up inside the plant in case of non-compliance with the specifications.

Sampling and observing the sampling frequency for microbiological tests and for the life test.

Analyze the samples of the raw material before the introduction on the packaging lines and during the production process.

Perform the various tests (product life) and fill the results in the electronic files.

Ensure the good quality and traceability of the finished product (packaging compliant, proper label, sealed sealant, expiration date, etc.).

Fill in and ensure compliance of HACCP documents.

Complete and monitor various HACCP forms completed during production and report any non-compliance.

Record the results of the various inspections in the appropriate database.

Make product reception (baby lettuce and ingredients):

Make sampling according to the established procedure and fill in the appropriate documentation.

Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (BPM) and health and safety procedures at work.

Report and enforce BPM for anyone entering the factory.

Report any potential contamination situation.

Participate in the general maintenance of the laboratory and equipment.

Perform other related duties.
- College diploma in process and food quality technologies, laboratory techniques or any relevant training
- 1-2 years of experience in quality control (asset)
- Knowledge of the field of food, production and HACCP standards are assets
- Basic knowledge of Word and Excel software
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, Spanish is an asset
