- Locate breakages, identify causes and make necessary repairs
- Test repaired equipment or components
- Analyze the vibrations of the equipment after an intervention
- Complete the work orders and the daily monitoring report and carry out the necessary follow-ups
- Clean and lubricate pumps, compressors and other equipment
- Carry out the mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic inspection of the equipment
- Participate in the development of a preventive maintenance program for the equipment
- Read blueprints, diagrams and diagrams to determine how to proceed
- Install, align, disassemble and move stationary industrial machinery or mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, boilers, etc.)
- Comply with OHS policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices and HACCP
- Perform other related duties
- Secondary school vocational diploma in automated systems electromechanics or a secondary school vocational diploma in instrumentation and control or other relevant training
- Requires at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- License C is an asset
- Knowledge of electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Welding skills (TIG, MIG and stainless steel)
- Ability to work in tight spaces, above ceilings, ladders and scaffolding
- Mastery of spoken and written English
- Knowledge of HACCP standards is an asset
