Job Description:
Trucking Company in Reedley is currently looking for an Accounting Clerk. This position covers a wide range of accounting duties including, AP, AR, Collections, along with other general accounting duties.

Audits invoices against purchase orders, researches discrepancies, and approves for payment.

Research problems that vendors have with obtaining payment for bills. Computes and records charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, and freight charges.

Prepares vouchers, invoices, account statements, reports, and other records, and reviews for accuracy.

Qualifications:

Accurate data entry and general math skills

Knowledge of accounting software

Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Initiative to identify and develop procedures to make AR/AP processes more efficient

Capable of effectively communicating with vendors, customers, co-workers and employees

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
