Job Description: 
McCormick & Co., Inc., a world leader in the spice, flavor & seasonings industry, is seeking a full time Retail Account Executive – Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Region. This new hire will work for Gourmet Garden (gourmetgarden.com), a leading brand in the fresh produce department, calling on Ahold, Delhaize, Wegmans, Wakefern, Safeway Eastern, Market Basket and other independent retailers. The Account Executive will report to the Head of Sales for Gourmet Garden North America.

POSITION OVERVIEW
 
This Retail Account Executive is responsible for the achievement of customer volume objectives, budgets and planning. Execution of Retail controllables and customer collaboration are key responsibilities to the success of this position.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Developing and delivering customer plans to achieve volume objectives and primary and day-to-day selling interface at customer HQ.
  • Manage direct and indirect account sales of Gourmet Garden product offerings, category performance reviews, forecast & distribution for existing brands and new products.
  • Manage a team of dedicated part-time merchandisers exclusively representing the Gourmet Garden brand at store-level.
  • Partner with our produce broker network to execute business plans and optimize retail execution.
  • Represents the brand at selected regional and national produce trade shows.
Ideal Candidate: 
  • Strong relationships within retail and wholesale fresh produce channels in the assigned region.
  • Experience in channels/segments outside of traditional grocery (i.e., Natural, E-Commerce, etc.).
  • Entrepreneurial approach as portion of customer portfolio will be targeting undersold or unsold accounts.
