Job Description:
Responsible for physically inspecting fresh produce at various locations from Florida to Maine. This person will travel to designated farms and warehouses to grade product such as Watermelon, Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Strawberries. Inspector will travel extensively and report back to the sales team on quality and condition.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position

Produce experience
-
Fluent in English (some Spanish speaking is a plus)

Valid driver’s license with own vehicle

Able to travel each day to various locations

Ability to send reports, photos, inspections digitally to sales team

Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
Responsibilities & Duties:

Execute field quality checks with the farm manager

Collaborate and communicate with the sales teams on field and crop updates

Collaborate with USDA Produce Inspectors

Work with Hapco Farms to improve process and quality, when needed
-
Extensive travel and time on the road
