Job Description: 

Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DUDA, established in 2006 to manage the company’s legacy fresh produce operations. Capitalizing on a tradition begun in 1926 of growing healthy fresh fruits and vegetables, Duda Farm Fresh Foods offers year-round availability of a wide range of products packed under the Dandy® brand. A full-service grower, packer, shipper, marketer, importer and exporter of farm fresh fruits and vegetables and fresh-cut vegetables, its operations are geographically diversified. The Florida-based Corporation has production and shipping operations in Florida, California, Arizona, Michigan and Georgia with additional domestic and international locations. This business unit provides DUDA with a diversified source of operating profits, mitigating its dependence on the company’s housing-related operations.

We are currently looking for a qualified Sr. Account Manager to join our Sales Team. In this role you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. As a Sr. Account Manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Responsible for sales, retention and growth of assigned customers.
  • Manage customer price quotes and volume allocations, including daily market quotes, short term advance pricing, and contract pricing.
  • Partner with the Sales Manager to ensure the overall sales strategy is active daily including identifying and developing new opportunities to maximize long term profit objectives.
  • Responsible for ensuring assigned customer orders are entered, confirmed and shipped as ordered.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs.
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Education: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field preferred.
Qualifications: 
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive.
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Knowledge of DAX or other related ERP software and MS Office.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
