Job Description:
The Sales Assistant supports sales marketing managers by tracking, investigating, and reporting sales information along with resolving problems. This position is an essential part of a successful sales team and ensures operational excellence by supporting not only the sales personnel, but our customers and other business partners.

- Superior organization, planning, multitasking and prioritizing skill

Proficient use of QuickBooks, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Have strong communication skills and proficiency in English, reading, and writing
Responsibilities & Duties:
Support the Sales Department

Faxing/Emailing time specific customer documents first thing in the morning and throughout the day as necessary

Keying in sales orders and other information into the accounting system daily

Recognizing variances in sales orders and figuring out where discrepancies are coming from

Running reports and distributing to the sales staff as needed

Assisting in analyzing freight and miscellaneous/other charges on sales order. Bringing to sales team any issues

Ensuring that all transactions are completed within each week (order detail)

Filing throughout the work week

Packaging material inventory management this includes updating the inventory and ordering when needed.

Pallet and RPC inventory management which includes online shipment record entries
