Job Description: 
The purpose of this role will be to execute sales for the company’s Canadian market. The role will be responsible for the business growth based on the profitable acquisition and renewal of customer base within the territory, and will serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned clients. The role will focus heavily on building and maintaining strong relationships externally with various levels of customer personnel, as well as internally by serving as a liaison between sales efforts and operational employees. The Regional Customer Manager will work in a collaborative manner with various departments within the company (i.e. Business, Customer Service, Operations, etc.) to execute sales objectives.

Requirements: 
  • 4 year degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3-6 years in produce.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a Sales related operation.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
  • Achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
  • Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Understand the fresh produce landscape and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • Managing the local customer sales plans and be the first point of contact of local retailers and wholesalers.
  • Contribute to the National Sales Team with proactive communication.
Ideal Candidate: 
  • CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or produce experience highly preferred.
  • Category management experience also highly preferred.
