JOB FILLED - Maintenance Planner

Job Description: 

The Maintenance Planner position, under limited supervision, performs work of routine difficulty; performs related work as assigned. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for the development and execution of the Computerized Maintenance Management System, and related processes such as Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance Program, Team Staffing, and other administrative duties as assigned.

The position interacts daily with the Maintenance Director, Supervisors, and Team, in addition to, Purchasing Assistant, vendors, and contractors.

Compensation/Salary: 
$15 - $22/hour DOE
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Assists the Maintenance Director with, but not limited to:
    • Computerized Maintenance Management System
    • Preventive Maintenance scheduling
    • Planning and scheduling
    • Parts and material organization
    • Asset Management / Criticality
    • Capital Project Management
  • Maintain PM Schedule for Production, Auxiliary, and Mobile equipment
  • Receive work order requests, schedule and issue PM/CM work orders
  • Prepare daily Reports from maintenance tech reporting, daily management board, and key performance indicators
  • Orders and issues spare, and replacement parts and expendable items utilized within maintenance shop operations
  • Attend and participate in maintenance planning meetings
  • Coordinate PM Schedule, corrective maintenance priorities, and project resource allocation
  • Coordinate with Purchasing/Warehouse Clerk on the development of a system to improve the delivery of part orders.
  • Monitor, control, and update parts inventory within constraints of budget
  • Assist in development of processes, procedures, and tools
  • Keep track of staffing level and assignments, adjust as necessary daily
  • Monitor, control, and update parts inventory
  • Maintain planned maintenance schedule
  • Update maintenance reports daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Daily timeclock corrections, hours worked, overtime tracking reports
  • Team member HR duties (PTO/Sick Time, On/Offboarding)
  • Print/review and translate Daily Mechanics logs and log any downtime

Qualifications: 
  • Work within and develop the modules with the CMMS program MicroMain.
  • Strong communication skills-bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
  • MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Advanced preferred or obtain training)
  • Knowledge of mechanical parts a plus, but not required
  • Reporting skills
  • Excellent organizational skills-detailed oriented
