Job Description:
The Packline Operator’s responsibility is to ensure that the operation of the pack line equipment in our cooler and packing facility in Yuma, AZ is functional and operating at maximum efficiency. Must have good analytical, technical, organization and people skills.
This is a Full-time seasonal job. Benefits are offered upon hire. Salary is DOE.

- Have full knowledge of food safety practices, traceability and safety and how to achieve the required standards.
- Understand and apply safe working practices.
- Must be Bilingual (Spanish, English)
- Ability to read, write and speak good English, including numerical information.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Must be willing to work long hours and weekends
- Must be willing to work in Firebaugh, CA for 2-3 months.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Will need to troubleshoot and repair machinery and electrical equipment at moment’s notice.
- Must prepare, calibrate and program sorter.
- Must keep inventory of materials such as: stickers, bags, corner boards, boxes.
- Operation of Line Equipment.
- Analyze production statistics to include the variety, sizes and completed orders in order to determine the efficiency of the machinery as well as personnel. Must make production modifications in a timely manner to minimize delays.
- Track the incoming and outgoing supply of totes.
- Ensuring work areas and equipment are cleaned as set out in the cleaning schedule and SOP’s.
- Accurately completing any associated administration
Education:
- High school diploma, supplemented by some college course work in agriculture preferred.
- Experience in supervisory of coolers and/or packing line operations
- Experience in food processing or agriculture
- Mechanical and electrical experience is a must
