Job Description: 

Seminole Produce is a fresh fruit and vegetable distributer throughout the United States. With offices in Florida and Pennsylvania, Seminole supplies fresh produce to retail, wholesale and food service customers. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our sales team as a produce broker. The candidate has excellent people skills, strong work ethic, a motivation to contribute to our growing business and, above all, staunch morals. You are detail oriented with the ability to analyze changing market factors with a comprehensive understanding of the fresh produce supply chain and P.A.C.A rules.

Requirements: 
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the produce industry.
  • Preferred brokerage and FOB sales desk experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation and reliable work ethic.
  • Ability to quickly process information and make decisions.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Computer Literate: Word, Excel, Outlook & Famous.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Maintain current customer base.
  • Cold calling / developing new customers.
  • Book orders with customers and shippers.
