Job Description: 

The Associate Recruiter Interim initiates the hiring process, posts job openings to generate applications, and identifies and screens qualified candidates for salary positions, nationwide. Assists in the implementation and management of strategic recruitment and talent management programs that aim to attract, measure, develop and manage MMI's ATS System.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and maintain detailed job descriptions.
  • Assist with competitive compensation necessary to attain talent and gaining agreement with management of the target salary and incentive structure.
  • Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify internal and external
  • candidates of position availability.
  • Communicate with hiring managers to determine hiring needs, skill sets and experiences for Corporate and assigned Salaried positions.
  • Manage the sourcing, qualification, presentation, selection, offer negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full cycle recruiting for Corporate and assigned Salaried positions.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews for Corporate and assigned Salaried positions ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Follow up with interview team members to capture insights, strengths and weakness, and potential for Salaried applicants. Conduct meaningful reference checks from appropriate sources (previous employers, and other references) to determine assigned applicants' employment acceptability.
  • Create offer requests for Salaried Exempt and Non-Exempt new hires, offer letters and set up physicals.
  • Introduce New Salaried Hires for Corporate to the company and walk them through the hiring process.
  • Manage external partnerships with staffing agencies as needed.
  • Initiate Security Request for Corporate New Hires and Transfers.
  • Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Works with Manager to design and implement programs that aim to attract, measure, develop and manage an organization's talent pool.
  • Track the total cost and recruiting metrics.
  • Assist Corporate HR team with administrative tasks and back up-front desk support.
  • Assist in the resolution of any issues with ATS System.
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe through audit.
  • Manage the yearly scholarship program.
  • Mail monthly welcome cards to new hires company wide.

 
Supervisory Responsibility:

Education: 
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in Recruitment/Talent Management.
  • Technically savvy and knowledgeable in general office equipment, MS Office Suite, HR
  • systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: B.S. in Org. Development/HR.
  • Bilingual/Bi-literate in Spanish/English highly preferred.
     
Skills: 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively and professionally interact with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be self-managing, professional and able to handle confidential information in a responsible manner.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • The role generally works in an office environment, however when visiting the farm/packing facilities this role will be required to use appropriate food safety and workers safety equipment such as hearing protection, hairnet, helmet, smock, etc., as required by the location.

  • Works at the corporate office; general office environment, however this position is required to interact with the HR Team/Hiring Managers at the farm locations, thus occasionally may be exposed to extreme cold or heat and outdoor weather conditions.
