Requirements: 
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of Computer Information Systems preferred: Microsoft Office Suite, Bosanova/Retalix and Sequel (training provided), and AS 400. Sales Rep will be expected to monitor inventory, in efforts to meet customer demands based on forecasts and communicate that information internally to purchasing department.
  • Negotiation Skills: Must have the skills to negotiate profitable accounts with diverse customer base. - Strong Mathematical Skills: Sales Rep will be responsible for monitoring individual accounts sales and gross profits. - Strong Communication Skills: Must able to communicate with all levels of management internally and externally. Sales rep will work with will all company departments in coordinating all sales activities. Communication must be professional, and concise.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, And PowerPoint. Rep will be responsible for processing and turning in credit memos, responsibility forms and other job related paperwork within the set time lines.
  • Critical Thinking: Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Adaptability/Flexibility: Sales Rep must have the ability to react quickly to changing requirements from internal and external conditions while maintaining good communication with all departments. - Time Management, ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects. Rep must attend all sales meetings and appointments. All orders must be submitted by daily cutoff times.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results. Sales Rep must make “cold calls” and derive information necessary to meet set goals individual accounts sales and gross profits.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for coordinating the activities of produce sales and profits for the company. Must be able to establish long term relationships with customers to develop opportunities to generate and expand business sales. Provide excellent customer service by meeting the needs and concerns of customers. Sales reps will partner with management and inside sales reps to help resolve customer questions and complaints.
Qualifications: 
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, And PowerPoint.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Dependable vehicle with safe driving record and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to travel in the local SoCal market daily.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and days.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated warehouse environment.
