Job Description:
Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of all plant equipment, systems, and facilities, including but not limited to refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic, packaging equipment.
Maintenance Supervisor will participate in the Continual Improvement Program in long and short term efforts to maximize product quality and increase production of products manufactured in the plant. These efforts including design and project management and any other task assigned.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Immediate management and attention to equipment that is not functioning or in good working condition.
- Attend to emergency down time of equipment during production with a 15-minute maximum resolve.
- Maintains daily maintenance reports.
- Accepts training for any new equipment and acts as equipment trainer / expert for all other employees of the company.
- Schedule preventative maintenance or repair project activities every day of non-scheduled production (Saturdays).
- Attends to service needs with an immediate sense of urgency.
- Attends weekly manager meetings.
- Follows budgetary guidelines as it relates to recommendations to replace non-functioning equipment.
- Will work with mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, water system, electrical (24, 120, 240, and 480-volt systems)
- Responsible for crew time sheets, assigning work to crew, Pms and work orders completed on time, crew safety tailgates.
- All other duties as assigned by Manager.
Education:
- Associates degree or Trade School certification in maintenance.
- 2 years or more supervisory experience in facilities and Maintenance Management Repair within a produce processing plant or related manufacturer.
- Preferred: 5 or more years as a supervisor in a produce processing plant.
Skills:
Computer Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office software. Experience and proficiency in database software a plus, Proficient in MP2 required.

- Native intellectual curiosity and mental stamina.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to deliver technical information in an easily understood manner across all departments.
Other Qualifications.
- Able to travel/relocate as required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to a cold (34-36 degrees F) and wet manufacturing environment, the smell of chlorine, outside weather conditions, uneven walking surfaces, heavy machinery, forklift traffic and loud noise.
