JOB FILLED - Sales Representative

Job Description: 

We are looking for a motivated individual who has a strong work ethic and drive to develop and maintain our sales program! We are open to a remote work environment or a team member to join us at our Portland, OR office.

The Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for new customer acquisition, developing and maintaining quarterly sales plans, current customer sales maintenance, and will work closely with our marketing plan. Candidates for this role are expected to have a thorough understanding of the produce supply chain, have a general understanding of berries, and have a history of produce sales experience. Maintaining a positive attitude, being flexible, and having the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals is essential for success in this position.

Requirements: 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • 5 years produce sales experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills, able to provide quick / accurate figures and system inputs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Work with team to develop and maintain profitable sales programs
  • Monitor inventory in sales system
  • Track customer orders and confirmations
  • Make presentations programs to potential and existing customers
  • Monitor sales programs to actual and provide weekly report to team
  • Assist buyers and Twin River Team with any order fulfilment needs
  • Organize and manage special sales and promotions
  • Identify and target new business development
  • Close sales achieve monthly targets and commit to sales results
  • Responsible for entire sales process from first contact to close
  • Attend all sales meetings and appointments, (on time, punctual)
  • Responsible for individual accounts sales and gross profit
  • Responsible for processing and turning in job related paperwork within the set time lines
  • Will be primary interface between operations and buyers daily
  • Plan, organize, and attend appropriate trade shows
