Purpose of the job: The Marketing Specialist will provide support & guidance to the Sales and Marketing Team. They will also assist in the development and implementation of marketing functions including but not limited to all sales and marketing collateral, tradeshow logistics, customer correspondence, research, pricing, website support & photography.

Requirements: 
  •     Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
  •     Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner
  •     Able to communicate with executive level personnel
  •     Demonstrated Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel & Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  •     Time Management Skills
  •     Able to travel occasionally
  •     Must be able to manage stress
  •     5 years of experience working with a sales team preferably in a food packaging environment
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  •     Coordinate graphic process for all packaging formats
  •     Plan, coordinate, and maintain creative control of all product photo shoots
  •     Use software to perform photo editing for photos that will appear on marketing materials, sales presentations, website, email marketing, newsletters, and social media
  •     Maintain, update and publish customer pricing as needed
  •     Design and create sales presentations with pricing for the sales team
  •     Plan trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements
  •     Implement marketing campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales data; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars
  •     Assist with broker related marketing campaigns and duties including but not limited to website, email marketing (newsletters)
  •     Manage several key accounts with new item forms, promotional offers, and spec info
  •     Develop and distribute quarterly promotions
  •     Assemble and distribute sample requests from sales in finished and prototype packaging
  •     Maintain and organize sample room with fresh, customer-ready product
  •     Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with manager
  •     Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintain competitor databases
  •     Assist with daily operation of sales requests ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
  •     Provide support for all sales executives, VP Sales & Marketing, President
  •     Support sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information and relaying customer service requests
  •     Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Education: 
  •     4 year degree in Business/Marketing and/or relevant experience
