DiMare Fresh is seeking a General Manager to lead our team at our Dallas/Ft. Worth Service Center. *no relocation package being offered at this time

Responsibilities & Duties:
Primary Responsibility: Manage all facility operations in a profitable manner, as directed by the COO. Oversee production, procurement, sales, transportation, personnel and customer service.
Specific Duties:
- Direct and assign work, set performance objectives and monitor performance of all facility departments
- Utilize customer contacts in the produce industry to develop and grow customer base
- Manage all facility activities, costs and operations. Monitor progress towards goals
- Recruit, train, develop and retain focused, goal-oriented team members
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, as well as all Federal, State and Local Laws and Regulations
- Provide a safe work environment. Identify any safety concerns, as well as cost saving opportunities
- Has excellent working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP and SOPs
- Provide excellent customer service to resolve problems/issues
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications:

Minimum 5-7 years successful perishable food experience with extensive knowledge

and contacts within the perishable produce industry

Supervisory/management experience with demonstrated ability to manage others

Food Safety and Food Security experience

Planning, staffing, budgeting, and organizational skills

Ability to develop effective relationships and to provide strong leadership

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel required, familiarity with Produce Pro is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to resolve issues effectively in a professional manner and solve complex problems
