Job Description:
Sol Group Marketing located in Pompano Beach, Florida is the marketing arm of the Sol Group, a melon grower, packer and shipper located in Central America. Our business is growing rapidly and we are increasing our operations for next season and need additional team members. We are seeking a Warehouse Manager for our operation in the Philadelphia area. The manager will be responsible for the daily coordination, improvement and execution of operations of this warehouse.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Control and manage current and incoming inventory to the warehouse.

Supervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operations.

Train staff and monitor their performance and progress.

Develop, oversee implementation and control observance of company policies and procedures.

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

Generate reports for cost management, including equipment efficiencies, waste, direct labor and materials.

Participate in Regulatory Inspections and client audits as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 10 years of warehouse management and logistics experience.

Ability to resolve complex issues with minimum supervision, and coordinate activities with other departments to meet deadlines.

Ability to take corrective actions or escalate issues to appropriate departments.

Ability to prioritize incoming requests based on sales and customer needs.

Strong computer skills, including MS Office.

Ability to communicate effectively and interact with all departments.
