Job Description:
Sol Group Marketing located in Pompano Beach, Florida is the marketing arm of the Sol Group, a melon grower, packer and shipper located in Central America. Our business is growing rapidly and we are increasing our operations for next season and need additional team members. We are seeking an entry level logistics coordinator to take lead on logistics matters and be an integral member of our sales team.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Coordinate shipments between the warehouses and customers using our existing carrier database.

Book outgoing shipments using our Transportation Management System and follow through until delivery to customer.

Work in close coordination with sales and shipping departments throughout the USA.

Coordinate transportation with carriers, verify bills of lading and transportation invoices.

Work with sales personnel to resolve any issues regarding deliveries.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in business, agricultural business or related field preferred.

Strong computer skills a must, with proficiency in MS Office.

Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.

Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Ability to speak Spanish a plus; but not required.
