Job Description: 
Reporting to the COO, the Account Executive will be responsible to manage new and existing business across Western Canada.  Included in the fore mentioned, other duties will include securing customer relationships, grower relationships, managing inquiries at customer level, and market communication.

Requirements: 
  • Five (5) years of sales account management experience in the potato industry  
  • Agriculture / product knowledge as it relates to the produce industry, specifically root vegetables
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to stay self-motivated and highly organized, prioritize
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite products, knowledge of inventory management software an asset
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently within established policies and broad objectives
  • Flexibility in working hours is required and frequent travel (60%) is a requirement of this role
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Manage, resolve and listen to customer inquiries/complaints by corresponding directly with customers, visiting locations to resolve disputes, involving MA’s where necessary, issuing credits for bad product, and working with Buyers directly to identify incoming problems.
  • Communicate weekly with Sales team at EarthFresh headquarters and COO to organize presentations for sales meetings as required.
  • Create and deliver presentations to a diverse audience based on customer and EarthFresh needs.
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot packaging issues with co-packers by identifying root cause and solutions.
  • Conduct cold calls to prospective customers and deliver samples as required.
  • Work closely with Logistics team to arrange transportation requirements.
  • Budgeting / analysis / projection of future sales.
  • Travel to Burlington Head Quarters regularly (approximately every 6 weeks).
  • Other duties as requested by the COO.
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in business or a relevant field of study
