As an Inside Sales Executive, you help to deliver consistent satisfaction by communicating product availability, trends, quality, cost, and promotional activity with our customers.

The ideal candidate will use their retail and/or procurement expertise to analyze market data and anticipate customer needs.

This opportunity is in Independence, KY, about 20 minutes outside Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Personify Crosset’s brand and maintain positive relationships with customers in over 17 states.
  • Develop and execute sales and programs that maximize net revenue opportunities while growing customer penetration.
  • Identify and present opportunities to provide better service based on Crosset and customer financial data.
  • Provide value-add solutions such as writing produce advertisements, drafting planograms, cooperation with sister companies, etc.
  • Promote new product offerings to customers.
  • Track order progress, follow-up and adjust orders as needed.  Communicate with colleagues in customer service, operations, and transportation regarding changes.
  • Make formal presentations to customers regarding Crosset performance and recommendations.
  • Manage accounts with occasional face to face interaction.
  • Accountable for increasing volume.
  • Purchase a pre-determined selection of commodities for resale to customers.
  • Less than 10% travel required
Skills: 
Sales focused – increasing current business by understanding customer needs and explaining Crosset’s value add
Analytical – use internal and market data to identify potential sources of new business
Communication – professionally communicate market trends, availability, etc. with customers
Conflict Resolution – deescalate and resolve customer service issues
Attention to Detail – track product pricing, shipping, and quality
Technology - Proficient in Microsoft office, able to navigate other software applications
Qualifications: 
  • 3-5 years Experience in retail or wholesale produce sales
  • Dedication to excellent customer service
