Job Description:
The Muzzi Family has been in the produce industry for over 50 years, involved in growing, harvesting, processing, sales and shipping of Fresh and Frozen vegetable products. Muzzi Family Farms handles the Fresh and Frozen sales for the Muzzi Family's group of processing companies.
We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our Sales Team in Salinas, CA. This person will work closely with Sales, Production, and Growers on a daily basis.

Requirements:
- Good understanding and knowledge of produce growing seasons and availability of raw product
- Minimum of 3 years working with Leafy Green Vegetable Sales Team, assisting with coordinating incoming raw product and logistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Experience with Famous Accounting System would be a plus
- Knowledge of maintaining Inventories and Inventory reports
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent mathematical skills
- 10 key proficiency a plus
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Make daily contact with growers for availability of raw product
- Maintain accurate purchase orders logs and reports on incoming raw product
- Effectively obtain replacement product due to grower / field shortages or increases in customer demand
- Alert processing / production facilities of any changes made to purchase orders / lot #'s, etc., by forwarding updated purchase orders, noting requested changes
- Alert appropriate Supply and Sales team members of changes that have been made Communicate with QA/QC Dept any questions the sales team has on incoming raw product
- Represent the company in a professional manner
- Be a “Team player" by working with, and assisting others
