Job Description: 

We’re seeking a Sales Manager who will help with sales, customer and worker success to fuel our growth. The Field Manager will join a growing team of technology experts and agricultural experts.

This role will be pivotal to Ganaz’s growth - we have market traction and need this role to ensure our current customers are happy and to build the pipeline of future users.

We’re seeking someone who is passionate about working with growers and farmworkers to build technology solutions that work for everyone. This team member will be key in growing adoption, building a pipeline of strong grower partners and getting user feedback to evolve the product.

The ideal candidate is located in California in/near the Central Coast of California (Salinas/surrounding area) or Central Valley. This role covers California and supports AZ, FL, WA and new locations.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

Sales & Customer Success:

  • Support Sales Executives - Co-Founders and Head of Sales- in customer engagement (onboarding and user feedback).
  • Engage current medium tier and support top tier accounts (engagement, user feedback,  and onboarding). Build pipeline of new medium tier and top tier accounts (prospecting, pitching, onboarding, engagement).

User Insights:

  • Do user testing with clients and with farmworkers & processing facility workers.
  • Help build our understanding of user/customer needs and influence the design & features of the product by sharing insights from client meetings, farm visits, farmworker interviews and the online Ganaz community.
  • Community & Industry Engagement: Support Social Media as it fits with our strategy.
  • Support industry events such as trade shows, conferences, informational sessions, etc.

Our Sales Manager Will:

  • Bring a passion for account management and serve as a Ganaz representative making using the product easy, positive and high ROI - turning companies and farmworkers into Ganaz Champions.  
  • Roll up her/his sleeves to get on the farms and in the offices to truly understand our users.
  • Be a relationship building pro - in the industry, with farm owners, with HR and production professionals, with farmworkers and with the Ganaz team.
Ideal Candidate: 
  • Has over 5 years of sales experience.
  • You are known for your great relationship building skills: Ability to listen to and collaborate closely with clients and partners.
  • You have prior sales experience with a proven track record to drive results.  
  • You're completely Bilingual Fluency in Spanish and English with a deep understanding of Latino culture.
  • You have a strong commitment to excellence and outcomes with a bias for action.
  • You're knowledgeable of farming and ideally the produce industry.
  • You have the ability to already navigate or quickly learn to navigate tools like Gsuite, Hubspot, Facebook Marketing.
  • You pride yourself on your creativity and willingness to try new things. You thrive in a startup environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, and have a commitment to continuous learning.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
