Job Description:
As the Payroll Lead you will be responsible for reviewing, auditing, verifying accuracy and submitting piece rate payroll on weekly and semi-monthly basis.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive piece rate experience
- Experience with California and Arizona agricultural pay requirements including time/attendance compliance
- Excellent planning, organizational, time management and communication skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work over-time during peak periods
- Advance Excel Skills
- Team oriented, Problem Solver and work under pressure
- Bilingual and Bi-literate mandatory
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead, train, coach, and encourage payroll personnel to meet deadlines
- Verify accuracy of weekly payroll timesheets, calculations, reports, and checks
- Process piece rate, hourly, and salary payroll
- Ensure withholdings and deductions are correctly deducted from employee checks
- Organize and review forms associated with federal, state, and local authorities, such as W-2s
- Oversee the distribution of paychecks
- Ensure payroll reports are updated and reported timely
- Perform administrative duties as needed
- Must be able to meet all deadlines
- Must run and send out weekly reports to Ag Operations and management
- Other duties may be assigned
Education:
- BA Degree in related area or a minimum of 5 years of payroll experience
