JOB FILLED - Floral Sales and Business Development Manager

Job Description: 

We are looking for a high performing Floral Sales Manager for a wholesale distribution company in Spokane, WA. This person will be responsible for assisting the company in customer acquisition and revenue growth while promoting, service, innovation in a member environment.

Requirements: 
  • 3-5 years floral experience required
  • Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Commit to continuous education through workshops, seminars and or conferences
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people skills
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure a strong presence
  • Responsible for recruiting, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them deciphering needs and fulfilling those needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
