Job Description:
Sells tropical fruit grown and sourced by Brooks Tropicals to retail and wholesale customers throughout North America.
Brooks Tropicals, a premier grower, packer and shipper of tropical fruits is looking to hire a Sales Representative.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Quotes existing and potential customers pricing for current and future weeks on available products via phone, fax, email and internet sales portal.
- Sells current produce inventory to existing and potential customers over the phone, via email, or via internet sales portal.
- Sets up promotions as requested by management. Write up corresponding offer and ad sheets.
- Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel).
- Solves customer problems related to quality, sizing, transportation and other issues.
- Advises customers of shortages and other order issues.
- Updates sales management on market conditions and changes in customer buying patterns.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
- Performs any directly related appropriate duties assigned by sales manager.
- Visits customers as needed, typically one to two day-trips.
- Attends food shows/trade shows to further develop customer relationships and build new customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task.
- Prior experience selling tropical fruits preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to make decisions in stressful environment.
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus.
