JOB FILLED - Senior Sales Manager

Job Description: 

We are in search of Senior Sales Manager for our Honeybear Growers facility in Brewster Washington.

This position will be responsible for the commercial success of our operations in Brewster WA. This includes developing and supporting our client base while maximizing grower returns and production team goals. The position manages key relationships between warehouse production and operations team with our customer account teams to ensure we are executing on our sales goals and driving company growth. This is a fast-moving dynamic role optimizing collaborative production and sales goals. Sales Leader will be required to travel as necessary to carry out their duties.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum five (5) years sales experience in the apple industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Solid understanding the tree fruit business operations and processes
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal), analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organic apples sales a plus
  • Ability to build trustworthy professional relationships at multiple levels throughout internal and external organizations
  • Ability to stay focused in an active environment and to remain calm under pressure and competing priorities
  • Aware of the "big picture" while maintaining focus on details
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Lead production/sales planning teams to ensure customer supply assurance, warehouse productivity and grower returns are optimized
  • Supports field-to-market plans and manages implementation by working in conjunction with key stakeholders Packing Operations and Sales and Marketing
  • Strong understanding of how to optimize grower returns through pricing, inventory management, product allocation and sales velocity
  • Delivers available-to-sell forecasts to Sales and Marketing to support program selling and/or advanced sales
  • Support identified accounts or new business segment opportunities as assigned
  • Manage/monitor internal business plans to effectively meet customer/grower needs and deadlines
  • Strong forecasting and data management skills
  • Must have the ability to work with a variety of data sources (internal sales reports, external market trends) to develop an in-depth understanding of our industry and marketplace to set pricing policies or reshape sales strategy
  • Understand, advocate and communicate with sales team members to build effective solutions to grow the business
  • Supports Industry and Senior Management reporting requirements
