Job Description: 

Dr. Produce is a family owned distributor of produce located in Paterson, NJ. Our company has been established since 2003 and is continually growing. We are seeking a Bilingual Produce Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.

As a Sales Representative your responsibility will be to manage, process and track orders for our clients. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships in order to prolong customer partnership, contact new and existing customers and secure sales by means of exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding people skills and the desire to help us grow our business through hard work and innovative thinking. Must possess strong sales, planning and time management skills.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, sales or produce wholesale
  • Language: Spanish /English Required
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Develop and maintain customer relations with supermarkets, restaurants and grocery stores
  • Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts, while also prospecting and building business with new accounts
  • Drive the attainment of company sales goals and profitability with distributor sales partners
  • Develop and solidify business relationships as appropriate to ensure company products are vital to customer business and revenue generating plans
  • Negotiate and execute contracts to establish new customers
  • Identify existing accounts that would have a greater contribution to company sales
  • Manage product inventory and track customer orders
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our product base and our preferred products and vendors
  • Dynamically sell product by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions
  • Enter customer information, process orders, and update customer records
