Job Description:
The Supply Manager position is a full-time position which is responsible for the flow of all assigned produce items.
Primary duties and responsibilities for this position are managing the supply line to meet sales needs while maintaining profit margins assigned to those commodities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Two or more years in produce purchasing experience

Proven track record in demonstrating ability to solve problems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong negotiation skills

Working knowledge in MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Famous or Inventory Management Systems

Ability to multi-task and work in high pressure environment

Bi-lingual (specifically Spanish) not required but a plus

Strong organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for assisting in developing and sustaining relationships with our farms and other supply lines
- Responsible for settlements and negotiations for revised billings
- Evaluate daily product reports and maintain acceptable inventory levels
- Manage the process for purchasing decisions and order fulfillment
- Be knowledgeable of food safety, food security and related regulatory requirements, assuring communication to and compliance by partners and growers
- Develop and manage analytical tools as needed
- Ability to determine market pricing and availability in order to procure product and maintain profitability
- Communicate market trends with sales and senior management
- Aware of the Company’s marketing strategies and long term goals
