We are currently seeking to add a Food Safety Specialist to oversee and ensure compliance with all food processing regulatory and customer requirements. This position is also responsible for overall effectiveness and efficiency of food safety programs. Responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing and continually improving BRC, GMP, Food Defense and HACCP programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science/Technology or any equivalent combination of education and work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform key responsibilities of this position.
- Ideal candidate will have food safety background and have worked in food processing industry.
- Must have knowledge of GFSI auditing, HACCP certified and proficient in conducting hazard analysis & risk assessment.

This position is based out of Sutter County 25 miles near Sacramento International Airport. We offer a business casual work environment in a beautiful country setting outside of Sutter County.
