Job Description:
The main goals of this job will be to buy and sell produce and fresh fruits destined to export markets meeting quality, cost and delivery goals, while establishing long term business relations with customers and suppliers.
Must live near Visalia, CA or must be willing to relocate

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for buying and selling fresh fruits and vegetables destined to export markets
- Coordinates fruit shipments, documents, USDA and local requirements
- Maintains a data base of producers and growers
- Maintains and up to date knowledge of foreign markets and client requirements
- Eventually, may travel to foreign markets, in order to get a better knowledge of customers and of the market itself
Education:
- Minimum B.S. in Agriculture / Business
Qualifications:
- Min 3 years of experience, preferably 5+, buying and/or selling, preferably in the produce- food industry
- Must be fully bilingual English / Spanish
- Highly autonomous and proactive, self- starter
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Fully oriented to results
- High degree of commitment and involvement in his / her job
- Preference to work in a high paced, multicultural environment
- Good learning skills
- Must be a team player
- Computer literate
- Able to establish long term business relations with clients
- Strong intellectual and analytical skills
