Job Description:
This position is responsible for developing a team of 5-6 technicians to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to our Food Safety practices (GMPs). Maintenance positions are responsible for preventative maintenance and the repair of equipment to maintain continuous, efficient production.

Requirements:
- Minimum Two years of Industrial Maintenance experience in a Supervisory or Management role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership skills focused on leadership by example.
- Strong troubleshooting skills. Able to quickly narrow down and identify the root cause.
- Good knowledge of electrical principles including reading electrical prints and wiring.
- Experience performing maintenance on 480V equipment, and 24V panels.
- Experience performing maintenance on hydraulic and or pneumatic equipment.
- Pride in doing things the right way.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Desire to take ownership of your assignments.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time if required.
- Crawling, stooping, and bending required.
- Must be able to climb a ladder.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Train and lead a team of maintenance technicians.
- Support the production department by reacting quickly and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Identify potential equipment failures before they occur.
- Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Implement various equipment modifications and upgrades to increase personnel safety, food safety, and equipment reliability, and process improvements.
- Become an expert on all equipment and processes. Learn to use, PM, repair, and optimize the operation of cutters, vertical baggers, scales, bin dumpers, conveyors, etc.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, equipment teardowns for cleaning, and thorough equipment inspections.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a food processing facility.
- Experience working with cutting equipment (Urschel), vertical baggers (Hayssen), and scales (Ishida, Yamato).
- Four or more years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
- Experience with welding & fabrication.
- Experience with VFDs, PLCs, sensors, etc.
