Job Description:
E. Armata, Inc. is a fourth-generation, full line produce wholesaler serving Metro New York and the surrounding Northeast area. We are located in the Hunts Point Terminal market, Bronx, NY.
The ideal individual will be responsible for building and maintaining positive long-term relationships with retail, wholesale, and foodservice customers and up to the challenge of bringing new customers into the business. Wholesale produce sales experience is required. You must be results-driven, have a strong work ethic and able to handle high volume sales.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Retain and grow key accounts, acquire and develop new customers.
- Understand each customer’s business and anticipate their needs.
- High level selling skills with attention to detail and follow through.
- Able to manage several projects at once and to prioritize tasks.
- Adapt quickly to changes in market conditions.
- Provide customer feedback to management and buyers.
Qualifications:
- High School Degree minimum.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- 3 to 5 years previous wholesale fresh produce sales experience.
- Able to work nights, flexible hours.
- Computer proficiency, knowledge of Produce Pro software a plus.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication and negotiating skills.
- Remain positive and poised in any situation, multi-tasking comes naturally.
- Self-motivated team player with results-oriented attitude.
