Job Description: 

Greenhouse Delight Foods Inc. belongs to a group of family owned companies based in Abbotsford, B.C. and has over 20 years of experience processing, packing and shipping bell peppers all over North America. Greenhouse Delight Foods Inc. provides services to Merom Farms Ltd., who operates 36 acres of greenhouses on the same property and under the same ownership, Greenhouse Delight also provides packing and sales services to an additional 32 acres of greenhouses in the Fraser Valley. Packing is done under Greenhouse Delight Foods Inc.’s own label as well as a variety of customers’ private labels. 

The business focus for the company is to sell to medium sized organizations, retail and wholesale who fit our Ideal Customer Profile where we can build multi-tier, non-price driven relationships. We believe this has contributed to our excellent reputation with our customers which is further proven by our average customer tenure at 15 plus years. Our operating culture is professional but relaxed and we always aim to exceed our customers expectations and over deliver. 

Greenhouse Delight Foods Inc. is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Senior Produce Sales Manager to manage all aspects of our customer relationships including sales, retention and growth. 

As a Senior Produce Sales Manager, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, price quotes and daily volume allocations. This position also requires working with other departments including; shipping, quality control, and accounting to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Building and maintaining a strong, multi-level relationship with existing customers 
  • Seeking out new customers and areas of profitable growth
  • Resolving service issues quickly and efficiently to the customers’ satisfaction 
  • Conducting formal customer reviews at least annually 
  • Traveling to trade shows as needed
  • Ensuring accounts receivables are current and accurate 
Qualifications: 
  • 5+ Years produce industry sales experience
  • Relevant product knowledge 
  • Ability to shift priorities on the fly due to changing market conditions
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team 
  • Big believer in building and managing relationships 
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and own transportation  
  • Computer proficiency a plus
