Veg Fresh Farms has a new opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our team in Corona, CA. We’re looking for a motivated individual who is ready to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment. The best candidates will have experience in the produce industry with managing inventories, taking orders, dealing with logistics, and fulfillment of orders.
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional, courteous manner and assist customers whenever appropriate.
- Effectively process and manage customer orders from the time they are received until the product ships.
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Track customer orders to delivery.
- Communicate with growers regarding shipments.
- Track rejected product and finalize settlements for invoicing.
- Ensure special customer requirements are accurate, current, and properly noted on the orders.
- Work effectively with sales personnel to resolve issues and disputes regarding shipments, products or accompanying follow-up activity.
- Provide support in managing e-commerce transactions.
- Implement quick decisions and problem solving in the sudden and unplanned situations that can occur in produce sales and production.
- Provide professional customer service in a fast paced environment, with a focus on process improvement and contribution to improving teamwork and workflow.
- Provide general support and assistance to other departments as assigned.
