Job Description: 

Well established grower packer shipper importer of Avocados with many years of experience is searching for an Avocado Sales Manager to join our team. 

As an Avocados Sales Manager, you will be required to develop and grow the category, must be positive, energetic, committed and confident communicator with strong presentation and people skills. 

We are a vertically integrated Company developing growth.

Compensation/Salary: 
DOE
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Present and sell company products to current and prospective customers
  • FOB Sales/ contract sales / sales account management
  • Order entry and tracking of shipments
  • Align weekly sales plan to Company placement strategy
  • Work to meet all established sales targets
  • Maintain constant communication with customers to keep them informed of product availability, quality and price
  • Answer questions and provide high-quality service to existing and prospective customers
  • Input, track and review sales orders and inventory levels
  • Work collaboratively to ensure optimal customer service and support
  • Attend trade shows
  • Provide customer-related insights and data to relevant teams and staff members
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of fresh produce experience required, buying and selling, retail and wholesale
  • Have a commitment to setting goals and the accountability for their achievement
  • Have Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to make data driven decisions
  • Proficient in sales transaction system software (famous or similar)
