Job Description: 

Berry People is a year-round, full-line shipper of organic and conventional berries and avocados, and owner of the Berry People® and Avo People® brands.  Headquartered in Hollister, California, the company’s ownership and key alliance partners hold important production assets in California, Mexico, Chile, and Peru.  All product is graded and allocated by pallet, and all growers are fully compliant with USDA and FDA regulations on Food Safety and organic practices.  Berry People operates with a strong company ethos along its entire supply chain that emphasizes complementarity, stewardship, and empathy. 

As an ERP Systems Analyst with Berry People, you will create cutting-edge competitive advantage by deploying IT solutions to create innovation, productivity, and compliance enhancements.  You will liaise with all functional areas, with programmers & outside IT support personnel, and with management to identify best practice workflow and systems solutions, and will conduct the implementation, training, and ongoing user support, troubleshooting, and customization required, ensuring ongoing user adoption and continual systems/process improvement.  In an industry “ripe” for new and “out of the box” IT solutions, this is your chance to make your mark as part of a young, innovative, and fast-growing fresh produce company.

Requirements: 
  • Reports to President/CEO
  • External party interaction with Material & Service Providers, Regulatory Bodies, Trade Associations, Accounting Firms, Credit Reporting & Insurance Companies, etc.
  • Internal Interaction with Management, Members, Sales & Administration, Operations & Logistics, and Quality Assurance and Compliance Teams
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Use the latest IT to improve Company innovation, productivity, and compliance
  • Liaise with departments, personnel, & management to optimize workflow & systems utilization
  • Improve user adoption through training & creation of system/process manuals
  • Ongoing user support, troubleshooting, & customization
  • Master Data Maintenance
  • EDI Interface Management
  • Application Interface/Integration
  • Identify system/process solutions, enhancements, & configurations
  • Report writing & query creation
  • Project Management of ongoing system/process improvement
  • Liaise with system programmers & accountants for ongoing systems improvements
  • Testing and release of system fixes and enhancements
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Analysis/IT or related field
  • Min 5 Years as an ERP Systems Analyst
  • Workflow/Systems Design Experience
  • Systems Integration & Process Automation Experience
  • Perishables Distribution Experience Advantageous, but not Required
Qualifications:
