The Opportunity: Sales Director
We are seeking an experienced and talented Sales Director to lead our sales team, drive strategy, and foster key relationships. This is a critical leadership role for an individual passionate about the citrus industry and organic produce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers across the USA and Canada.
- Profitability & Negotiation: Negotiate favorable pricing and contracts to ensure consistent profitability for the company.
- Market Strategy: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer demand to adjust procurement and sales strategies proactively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and internal sales teams to ensure seamless execution and meet customer needs efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years of demonstrable experience in the citrus industry is required.
- Market Insight: In-depth knowledge of both domestic and import deals within the produce sector.
- Proven Sales Leadership: Strong track record of success in sales and leading a sales function.
- Core Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Salary: $130K-$150K
