Capespan North America is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our U.S. sales team with order management, customer communication, shipment tracking, and day-to-day sales administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced produce professional who understands the urgency, accuracy, and service mindset required to keep imported fruit programs moving smoothly.

About the Role

As Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the U.S. sales team and helping ensure customer orders are handled accurately, efficiently, and professionally. You’ll work closely with sales and operations to monitor order platforms, enter customer orders, track shipments, resolve service issues, and help deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced produce environment.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will monitor customer purchase order and order-exchange platforms, respond promptly with required information, and enter customer orders accurately and on time.

You will track customer shipments, proactively communicate potential issues, and help ensure timely order pickup. You’ll also collaborate closely with the sales and operation steams, investigate or escalate customer service concerns as needed, and maintain a high level of professionalism in every administrative and customer-facing interaction.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of produce industry experience, along with strong administrative, organizational, and customer service skills.

You should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive deadlines in a remote environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Experience with citrus and/or grapes is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite,including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is important, as is experience with Famous,i Trade, and other retail-specific platforms.

Because this is a remote role, the ability to build strong working relationships, communicate clearly,and contribute to a positive team environment is essential.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected compensation range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 annually, based on experience.
