Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Science (BS) Degree with a major in Accounting
- 6-8 years in progressively demanding accounting and management roles preferred
- CPA preferred
- Agricultural experience preferred
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Supervision of 5 staff members
- General ledger maintenance for 10 companies
- Financial statement preparation
- Seasonal growing cost reporting
- Cash flow projections
- Payroll tax reporting
- Coordination with CPA firm for income tax return preparation
- Preparation of annual growing and lease agreements
- Fiscal management of joint ventures
- Profit sharing reporting and distributions
- Personnel management
- Employee health insurance
- Workers comp insurance and personnel safety
- General liability insurance
- Trust accounting
- Investment of operating cash

- Strong communication skills
- Organizational skills to effectively multitask in times of competing demands
