The Production Coordinator is a new position, which will require working as a member of multiple teams to properly execute demand forecasting and production scheduling activities. The candidate will be required to communicate with field operations, production facility managers, quality assurance personnel, and salespeople in order to create short and long term plans that assure smooth production in the packing facility and guarantee consistent quality and availability of year-round finished product as grape varietals and growing regions change. Using customer demand information, raw product characteristics, and plant capacity constraints; the production coordinator will schedule production runs which optimize plant efficiency while meeting final product specifications.
This is a full time, permanent position with a flexible start date.
We are open to all motivated individuals with a four year college degree, and an interest in strengthening current processes and bringing new ideas to improve efficiency at an agricultural production facility. The ideal candidate will be dependable, flexible, willing to learn new concepts, and able to work well individually as well as within a team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are key in this role, as well as solid analytical and statistical capabilities.
