Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor provides hands-on leadership to a production team to deliver daily targets covering output, quality, safety and efficiency while achieving goals on a daily basis.
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years production supervisory experience, preferably in the produce industry
- Must be mechanically inclined and have hands-on experience in the operation of and troubleshooting/diagnosing mechanical failures in a production environment
- Packing line experience using interfaces, scales etc., is an asset
- Proficient in Word/Excel and Outlook as well as an inventory management software
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Organizational skills, problem solving and ability to prioritize
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and stand on feet for majority of the working day

Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as required, which will include some evenings and weekends
- Maintains operations within established standards for quality, productivity, safety and housekeeping; organizing and prioritizing workload on a regular basis.
- Lead multiple packing lines on production floor.
- Ensure production schedules are met, follow-up and deal with any problems that may occur.
- Ensure availability of all packaging material in accordance with the daily production schedule active purchase orders.
- Resolve any employee disputes and solve issues with tact while upholding EarthFresh values.
- Set-up and allocate EarthFresh employees to designated lines and start daily line operations.
- Create tags for inventory management using re-pack module in Famous.
- Ensure compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Food Safety Act, employment regulations and EarthFresh company policies.
- Work closely under the direction of the Production Manager.
- Perform all other duties, responsibilities and functions as assigned by the Production Manager.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Current license for Forklift, Reach, Walkie

Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes related to the food industry an asset
