Legacy Fruit Packers, LLC is a vertically integrated grower, packer and shipper of fresh apples, pears, and cherries. In January 2015, Larson Fruit Company and Valley Fruit III, LLC combined their warehouse and packing operations. Together they own over 3,650 acres of orchard, producing approximately 4 million boxes of company grown fruit.
The packing and storage facilities, as well as the corporate offices sit on a combined 64 acres of land and have over 210,000 bins of on-site cold storage capacity. In September 2015, Legacy completed the installation of a state of-the-art high speed packing line with the latest sorting and defect detection technology located in Wapato, WA. Combined with an existing commit to pack line, and a newly refurbished dedicated pear line in Selah, Legacy is capable of diverse and agile packing operations. Legacy Fruit Packers and its related orchard entities employ over 530 full time employees.
