Seed to Table Logistics, a division of Oakes Farms is a start up experiencing phenomenal growth. Oakes Farms started with their own fleet of trucks, but with the inception of Seed to Table, we have added Owner Operators to the mix.
Steve Veneziano, vice president of sales and operations for Oakes Farms, described how the change is designed to benefit customers.
“Instead of them using their own in-house logistics or outside brokers, we’re going to manage owner-operators and ensure we do what it takes to get on-time delivery to the customers”.
Beyond a fleet of 37 trucks that originate from our distribution center in South Florida, Oakes Farms provides trucking delivery coordination services between farms and grocers across the U.S.
