Job description

Join One of California's Most Respected Family-Owned Produce Companies

Joe Produce Search has partnered exclusively with Baloian Farms to identify an experienced Agronomist / Grower Relations professional.

For generations, Baloian Farms has built its reputation on something that can't be built overnight—trust.

Known for premium-quality vegetables, long-standing grower partnerships, and unwavering integrity, Baloian is a multi-generational family-owned company where relationships matter, quality comes first, and people are treated with respect.

As the company invests in its future, they're seeking someone who shares those same values—building trusted relationships with growers while providing sound agronomic guidance across California's growing regions.

If you're equally at home walking ranches, collaborating with growers on fertility and pest management, reviewing production forecasts, and partnering with sales and operations, we'd love to talk with you.

Why Baloian?

This isn't just another agronomy position.

At Baloian, growers are trusted partners. You'll join a collaborative team where integrity, humility, and practical problem-solving matters as much as technical expertise.

Your work will directly support grower success while helping to deliver premium-quality vegetables to customers throughout North America.

Your Impact

As Agronomist / Grower Relations, you'll:

  • Build trusted relationships with grower partners throughout California.
  • Provide agronomic guidance on crop quality, fertility, irrigation, and pest management.
  • Monitor crop development and production forecasts.
  • Partner with Sales, Harvesting, Food Safety, and Operations to ensure successful growing programs.
  • Travel throughout California supporting growers and production teams.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in agronomy, commercial vegetable production, farm management, or grower relations.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience with peppers and squash preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial vegetable production, irrigation, fertility, and pest management.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout California.

Why You'll Succeed

You're someone who:

  • Builds trust naturally.
  • Enjoys spending time with growers in the field.
  • Solves problems collaboratively.
  • Leads with humility and integrity.
  • Takes pride in helping others succeed.

Location: Central Valley, California (Fresno area preferred)

Travel: Frequent day travel throughout California.
